Mamaia resort

Mamaia
Mamaia is Romania’s most popular resort on the Black Sea shore and the largest summer resort on the Romanian seaside. It gained its title as “The Pearl of Romanian seaside” but also as “the new Ibiza of Black Sea”.
Mamaia beach

Mamaia should be the first summer destination for those who want to enjoy relaxing days surrounded by sandy beaches, and glowing nights spent dancing until morning in the best clubs on the coast.
Mamaia beach
Mamaia lies on a strip of land between the Black Sea and Siutghiol Lake. Natural conditions are excellent: large sandy beaches, pleasant breeze and warm sea water. The beach season is at its best between mid May and late September, when average daytime temperatures range between 25 to 30 degrees Celsius (78 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit). The water stays warm until mid autumn.

Sunrise in Mamaia
Mamaia resort was gifted with one of the largest beaches in the whole Europe and it is the only resort in Europe to have the pure white sand only found in tropical places such as Hawaii. The beach covers an area of almost 10 km, has a width that ranges between 100 and 300m and is covered with very fine soft white sand. The coastal platform is characterized by the smooth slope, the sea floor by the lack of rocks therefore the entry in the sea is done smoothly, the depth of the sea growing gradually on a rather long distance. The sea is great offering funny, small waves and the view (especially at sunrise) is fantastic. Lovers and the kids enjoy collecting shells and making sand castles or sculptures

Where is Romania?

Earth => Europe=> Romania :)

Romania is located in Southeastern Europe, in the northern part of the Balkan Peninsula.

Romania shares borders with Bulgaria to the south, Serbia to the southwest, Hungary to the northwest, Ukraine to the north and to the east and Moldova to the east.
The Capital City of Romania is Bucharest (Bucuresti), located in the south – southeast of the country, and has over 2 million people.
The Carpathian Mountains (also known as the Transylvanian Alps) traverse the centre of the country while the Danube River naturally “draws” a large part of the country’s border with Serbia and Bulgaria and ends its European journey flowing into the Black Sea but only after forming the Danube Delta – one of the largest and best preserved delta in the world, a biosphere reserve and a biodiversity World Heritage Site.
Hint: Where is Transylvania? Transylvania is the Romanian province located inside the Carpathian Mountain.
Hint: According to the World Travel and Tourism Council, Romania was estimated to have the fourth fastest growing travel and tourism total demand in the world, with an estimated potential growth of 8% per year from 2007 to 2016.
